AV Installation Technician (Commercial)

We are looking for a high-energy, driven professional to fill an AV Installation Technician position. This person will pull wire, terminate, and install AV equipment on commercial job sites.  Much of this work is scheduled locally during normal business hours; however, the candidate should know that travel will arise on occasion.

This is a great position for someone who has a background in commercial AV or other backgrounds in relevant fields such as structured wiring, electrical, etc.

Requirements:
• Solid understanding of AV signal flow
• Demonstrated ability to read and understand schematic drawings
• Good troubleshooting skills
• Able to solder and perform RJ45 terminations
• Clean driving record, Drug-Free Workplace
• Clean background (we work on government and school board projects with certain background requirements)

Ideal qualifications:
• 1-3 years of experience in commercial AV integration (or relatable experience such as datacom, electrical etc)
• OSHA 10 or greater
• Arial lift certification or significant lift operating exposure
• Experience on commercial construction sites during the construction phase

AV Diagnostic Field Engineer (Commercial)

We are looking for a high-energy, driven professional to fill an AV Diagnostic Field Engineer position. This person will perform onsite service calls and system commissioning.  Much of this work is scheduled locally during normal business hours; however, the candidate should know that some travel will arise on occasion. 

This is a great position for someone who has an extensive background in commercial AV. This person should have a strong understanding of AV signal flow, possess exceptional troubleshooting skills, have knowledge of IP network configuration, and a general understanding of control system programming. 

Requirements:
• Solid understanding of AV signal flow
• A proven background in IP networking
• Demonstrated ability to read and understand schematic drawings
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Proficiencies with analysis & testing equipment such as: FFT or RTA analyzers, data qualifiers, multimeters, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have a clean driving record and pass a prescreen drug test

Ideal qualifications:
• 3-7 years experience in commercial AV integration
• Avixa (CTS, CTS-I) AQAV (CQL, CQT) or equivalent
• Previous experience and certification(s) from the following or similar: Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Qsys, Symetrix
• Proficient AV terminations and soldering
• Other relatable AV or IT experience
